How to Play Should I Stay or Should I Go

Here’s how you play the intro riff of The Clash’s one and only hit – Should I Stay or Should I Go. This is a very easy songs to play and you only need to know a couple of guitar chords and a very simple strumming pattern.

Here’s how you do it.

You only need to know 2 simple, major chords. And you probably know them already! It’s D major and G major chords. You also need to know how to mute strings since you probably hear the guitarist mute them after the first set of riff of D-G.

The last part of the intro riff is the hammer on from the E 5th fret to 8th fret.
